Let’s start with the 2wd Rookie Truck Class. Little Dylan Halverson has been on a roll this year… Dylan currently leads the 2011 JBRL Electric Series Rookie class by 10pts and recently won the 2011 Hot Rod Shootout this past July. Today he wrapped up TQ in the 2wd Rookie Truck Class… Keep any eye on this kid he is one his way to the winners circle again…
What more can we say about one of RCinsider.com’s best digital correspondents Brent “Bam Bam” Bisbee… Brent is having one of his best weekends of 2011 campaign… He is currently sitting 3rd overall in Exp Stock Truck and 4th overall in Expert Stock SC. We spoke with Brent earlier today he has been fighting electronics and motor temp issues all weekend! Brent runs for Speedtech RC so if you locals have any questions for him stop on by, I’m sure he would love to sign an autograph or two! Next up we have Matt Gilbert local so cal driver who currently is sitting 3rd on the grid in Exp Stock SC and 6th in Exp Stock Truck. Matt’s most recent claim to fame was 3rd in Pro 2 SC and 2nd in Stock SC at the Pro-Line Surf City Classic at OCRC Raceway at the end of August… Matt currently drives for the Keith Jones Cancer Foundation…
Finally we make our last stop with Russell Drummond… Currently sitting 2nd on the grid right behind Dylan Halverson in the Rookie Truck Class… Russell has been participating in the JBRL Electric Series since 2006… He is currently being mentored by “Bam Bam” and Speedtech teammate Jake McGarvey… We look forward to seeing the rookie squad put on and impressive battle tomorrow!
